Kate MacRae took this photo of my painting and the subject while I was preparing for the 2007 Art Cellar Gallery Plein Air Group Exhibition in 2007.

At the Chez Zee Art Gallery in Austin, Texas, 18 artists were invited to participate in this special exhibition commemorating the 10th Anniversary of Ampersand Art Supply. All of the artwork in the show was created on one of Ampersand’s painting panels. The wide variety of styles, mediums and sizes in the exhibition help demonstrate the dynamic nature of the artists and the painting panel they are using.
